The City Dance Festival was created in 2019 and presented by Xing Dance Theater. CDF presents festivals in the USA, China, and Puerto Rico, including The Washington International Gala, Washington International Dance Festival, Taiyuan International Choreography Festival, Puerto Rico International Dance Festival, and Xing Dance Theater Annual Dance Concert.

The mission of the City Dance Festival is to create a platform that brings international dance artists and teaching artists to the festival host city, providing performance, dance education, and cultural exchange opportunities to the local dance community.
